Facilities
Our facility includes the following features, to ensure peace of mind, whilst leaving your valuables in our care.
Our secure warehouse situated at OR Tambo International Airport (South Africa) and covers 3,100 sq m for the handling and storage of vulnerable cargo – i.e. any goods of a sensitive nature that are susceptible to theft (e.g. such as cell phones, computers, electronic equipment, cameras, phone cards, fashion goods, pharmaceutical products)
Over and above our secure warehouse, we also offer:
- A category 4 vault for the safe keeping of high value items (e.g. precious stones, gold bullion, platinum, bank notes, travellers cheques, firearms etc.)
- A transit shed for the storage of goods for up to 14 days prior to payment of customs duties.
- A bond store where goods can be stored for up to three years without duties being paid.
- A duty paid store where goods can be stored indefinitely.
- A certified refrigerator for the storage of drugs, pharmaceutical products or other temperature-sensitive goods.
Our transit amenities include secure helicopter and fixed-wing aircrafts that are available for goods arriving directly by air. Goods can be transferred from a helicopter, of any size, or aircraft up to Gulfstream IV size, into the vault, within 2 minutes of arrival.
We also have a state-of-the-art secure vehicle used for the transportation of valuable goods, either in containers or loose, to or from aircraft.
